Beyond the site of the gallery, Durslade is a working farm. This June, we will be joining over 200 farms across the UK in Open Farm Sunday, an annual initiative celebrating the diversity of British farming and the many ways in which the countryside can be farmed, foraged and maintained.

For this year’s Open Farm Sunday, we will take you on a tour of the wider farm on our tractor and trailer. Joined by one of our team, you will visit the cattle and learn about the varying breeds that we have, watch our sheep getting sheared and discover what we do with the wool, as well as learn more about our crops. Different farm machinery will also be on display.

Jump back on to the tractor and trailer and return to Durslade Farm, where you will have the opportunity to meet with local suppliers that we work with and taste the products we create, from our wine and cider to our honey and foraged products. In the old farmyard make your own Bee Bomb or Bee Balm in a workshop and join Jenna Doodles and Singaling for farm themed activities for children.

Head out to the vineyard where you can find out more about our wines and how we care for the vines, as well as a bit more about our bees.

This event is free, but places on the farm tours, foraging walks, vineyard tours, bee bomb workshops and bee balm workshops are limited. Slots can be booked in advance and we will have spaces available on the day for walk-ins.

Open Farm Sunday takes place 10 am – 4 pm. Roth Bar will be open for normal service for you to enjoy drinks and snacks.
