The Farm

The Farm

Farm Shop Somerset is situated on the edge of our 1,000-acre farm. On our estate, we have cattle and sheep, as well as Durslade Vineyards, our apple orchards, and the fields, woodlands, and hedgerows where our foraged produce is collected.

Roth Bar

Roth Bar

Artist Oddur Roth, grandson of the late German-born Swiss artist Dieter Roth, lived and worked in Bruton, UK between January and April 2024. Alongside his team, they reimagined Roth Bar as a new fully functioning, site-specific artwork within the Threshing Barn at Hauser & Wirth Somerset.

The perfect spot to enjoy cocktails, wine, cider and beer, alongside brunch, small plates, burgers and more!

Da Costa

Da Costa

Da Costa is  named for and inspired by Artfarm co-founder Iwan Wirth’s maternal grandfather, who originated from the small mountainous village of Rivamonte Agordino in the Veneto region of Northern Italy. He emigrated to Switzerland in the early 20th century and opened a restaurant much loved for its simple, honest fare.

The menu is an exploration of traditional northern Italian recipes made using freshly grown seasonal ingredients from the surrounding area.

Hauser & Wirth Somerset

Hauser & Wirth Somerset

Somerset is home to a vibrant programme of art exhibitions, events, learning activities and artists’ residencies, which connect with the local community and landscape. The gallery is free to attend, with all donations distributed between local charitable partners.

Centred around a core belief in conservation, learning and sustainability, Hauser & Wirth Somerset offers a wide variety of workshops, talks and screenings, alongside learning resources and unique partnerships with local schools, universities and institutions. The gallery supports an immersive artist-in-residence programme, encouraging international artists to draw inspiration from the surrounding rural landscape and local community.

Oudolf Field

Oudolf Field

Designed by Piet Oudolf, the internationally renowned landscape designer from the Netherlands, Oudolf Field is a large perennial meadow situated behind the Hauser & Wirth Somerset gallery buildings.

Carefully shaped and planted, the garden echoes the tradition of classical gardens, but the variety of species and combination of plants creates a looseness, softening the formality of its appearance. Known for his use of plants with spectacular seed heads, Oudolf has created a garden that has interest year round.
