San Patrignano Traditional Panettone

A traditional Italian festive treat, the Panettone di San Patrignano is prepared according to a recipe that has been handed down through generations, using only natural ingredients and a mother dough that is over 30 years old and cared for by the members of the community.
The structure of the panettone is the result of three consecutive days of preparation and nourishment of the sourdough with double leavening of 24 hours. Soft raisins, candied orange peels and fragrant candied citron, perfectly marry the natural flavouring deriving from the combination of honey and vanilla.

Type "00" soft WHEAT flour 25.7%, butter (MILK), EGG YOLK, candied orange peel 11.7% (orange peel, glucose-fructose syrup, sugar, cane sugar), raisins 11% (sultanas, sunflower oil), sugar, natural yeast (Type "0" soft WHEAT flour, water), candied citron 2.5% (citron peel, sugar, glucose-fructose syrup), honey, salt, malt extract (BARLEY MALT, water, soft WHEAT MALT flour), fructose, natural flavouring, vanilla powder.

For over 40 years, San Patrignano has offered free help to girls and boys with addiction problems whilst offering a new life for the families of those suffering, who find comfort and support in the reliable and expert guidance the community and its volunteers offer.
