The Colomba di San Patrignano is made from high quality raw ingredients, including 100% Italian flour. The mother yeast which has been cared for and worked by the children of the community for 14 years, is the essential ingredient to obtain the light and fragrant structure of this cake. The dough is the result of three consecutive days of preparation and nourishment of the sourdough with a double leavening lasting 24 hours. Sicilian Ribera orange peels candied naturally perfectly match the natural flavouring resulting from the combination of honey and vanilla pods.
