Greengage plums are a small, green fruit that have a rich history, believed to have originated in Iran and travelled along the Silk Road, before eventually spreading across Europe. The natural sweetness of the fruit pairs well with bold, mature cheeses, and makes a great option to spread on crusty sourdough bread or on a fresh croissant for a delightfully sweet breakfast.
