Lamb Mock Duck

Mock Duck, unlike its name suggests, is a boned and rolled lamb shoulder with the shank kept on to deliver the illusion of a duck's bill. This roast is not only a bit of fun and a great centrepiece for a family Sunday lunch, it is also easy to carve thanks to being boneless. The shoulder is less lean than the leg but that gives it more depth of flavour. Slow cook in the oven and the meat will melt in your mouth.

Our award-winning lamb is grass-fed and reared on our Durslade Farm where they enjoy pastures of natural grasses, herbs and wild flowers.
