From the lower leg of the animal, this cone-shaped cut is exceptional when cooked low and slow until the meat falls off the bone. Fat within the shank breaks down whilst it braises which releases a deep, rich flavour into the sauce. Allow one lamb shank per person.
Our lamb are grass-fed and reared on our Durslade Farm where they enjoy pastures of natural grasses, herbs and wild flowers.

Cooking Tips
Remove from the fridge and bring to room temperature before cooking. Place in a slow cooker with stock, preferred vegetables and seasoning. Cook for 6-8 hours until the meat is tender. Alternatively, use a casserole dish in the oven.
Storage Instructions
Keep refrigerated once delivered and consume by the use-by date. If frozen before expiry, our meats can be frozen and used within three months. Defrost fully before use. Do not re-freeze.
