Recipe: Steamed Marmalade Pudding

This steamed marmalade pudding by Mark Hix is a good old fashioned pudding. Pick up a jar of our FARM SHOP Orange Marmalade and some whisky, or use whisky you have at home.

Ingredients

  • 100g fresh white breadcrumbs (including crusts)
  • 80g light muscovado sugar
  • 20g self raising flour
  • 80g melted butter, plus extra for greasing
  • 200g FAR200g Farm Shop Orange Marmalade, softened
  • 2 medium eggs, beaten
  • 1/2tbs bicarbonate of soda
  • 50ml whisky
