Introducing CultJar

Cultjar was created to ensure that more people can enjoy preserved foods through creative ingredient combinations and unique ferments. Founded by Peter Prescott, who wanted to create preserved and slow foods, prolonging the seasons and preserving ingredients.

Using recipes and food preservation techniques which are a mixture of traditional methods, plus contemporary and international approaches, Cultjar have found a fermentation process that works best for them.

Farm Shop x Cultjar

Working with Cultjar we have created a range of high-quality ferments with their expert knowledge for you to enjoy. From our version of Sauerkraut made with cabbage combined with leeks, bay leaves and juniper berries for a flavourful twist to our kitchen garden kimchi with Korean gochujang, these are the perfect flavour kick for your dishes.
